February 16, 2017:
LOOSE DOGS (AND CATS):
One of our residents has done the leg-work and here is what we need to do if the same animals are out and about, rummaging through garbage, aggressive, etc.
1.) Call Animal Control at: (386) 329-0396 or email them at - pcso.us/htdocs/animalservice.html
2.) Record the name of person you speak with, time, and date and keep on hand.
3.) Take pictures, pictures, and more pictures and email them to the address above.
4.) Call as often as you need to but be sure to keep a record of the information I've noted in #2 above.
5.) If you or someone you know has been hurt, please contact PCSO at phone: 386.329.0800
Putnam County Commissioner, Mr. Bill Pickens is doing what he can to assist this continuing problem but we need the communities assistance and persistence with calls and emails.
